The first and only battery powered blower designed especially for DWV system smoke testing. The 5E FLEX is compatible with leading 18-20 volt tool batteries, utilising a high quality Power Adapter, so the 5E FLEX integrates seamlessly into your existing cordless tool set. Also run off a 12-24 Volt DC power source - such as a car or truck battery, using the DC Clips.

VPE Ultrasonic Leak Detector

 The Patented Superior AccuTrak® VPE Ultrasonic Leak Detector is a state-of-the-art, non-invasive, ultrasonic leak detector that can detect both pressure and vacuum leaks of ANY GAS. The VPE is ideal for pinpointing leaks in air conditioning, refrigeration, automotive and other systems.

VPE-1000 Digital Ultrasonic Leak Detector

 The low cost and versatile AccuTrak® VPE-1000 features separate ultra-sensitive sensors for both airborne and contact ultrasound. Extremely sensitive to the ultrasonic sound of leaks and friction in industrial systems, the VPE-1000 USD uses a technique called "heterodyning" to translate ultrasound to a lower frequency which our ears can interpret.

No, these candles are for professional use only.  These products should only be used by Professionals who are properly trained and/or fully knowledgeable in the use of these products for the specific application(s). 

When not being used keep them away from children and stored in the Sealpac's. This will keep them dry, when damp they may not work properly. Store in a cool, dry area.

All smoke, or in this case haze, is harmful in high concentrations. Please read the SDS supplied with the product. wear PPE and follow the safety instructions.

The candles are not explosive and therefore may be safely incinerated or otherwise disposed of in any manner compliant with local regulations.  

Smoke Candles are NOT Explosive, and are NON-Pyrotechnic, but they generate a LOT of haze, very quickly. Always use the LEAST amount of Smoke that will get the job done.  Start with less, and if necessary then try again with more.

The AccuTrak® instruments are designed in a way to minimize the need for regular calibrations. They are constructed with components of very tight tolerances, and do not age rapidly. If there is a need to know for sure that the instrument is consistent with manufacturer specifications, you can elect to have the unit calibrated on a schedule of your choosing, however regular calibrations are not required. 

You can hook up any AccuTrak® instrument to a digital recorder that actually time stamps the record you make.  All you need is a headset splitter and a cable available anywhere to record. Then you can hook it up to an analyzer or computer. Olympus makes a very good recorder, small and inexpensive that can record up to 3 hours. 

The instruments do not contain any toxic substances, however, the alkaline battery should be disposed of in accordance with local council guidelines. 

The ability of the AccuTrak® to detect a leak is dependent on the amount of ultrasonic sound created by turbulent gas flow. This is determined by several factors including the size of the leak, the pressure or force of the gas which is leaking, and most importantly, the actual shape of the orifice itself.  Although technically ultrasonics will work,  because of the potential hazards of  natural gas leaks, we do not recommend the ultrasonic detector as it is not an absolute test. Not all ultrasonic detectors have been rated intrinsically safe.
